Yesterday a group of mums from school did a tour of Chinatown in Singapore - we sometimes forget what vibrant and colourful inspiration is on our own doorstep. It was the mid-Autumn festival during the week - hence the lanterns everywhere. We visited the medicine man, the tea shop, bakery, wet markets. My favourite pic is the coloured chopsticks.

Hi DogpackMOMMA if you send me your email address I can point you in the right direction for shops
I collect Japanese chopsticks. These have pointy tips while the Chinese ones have more cylindrical tips. The J ones have really pretty designs on them.
Warm wishes from Tokyo, from someone who used to live in Singapore !
